About Dr. Ethan Vogel

Ethan Skylar Vogel, OD, is a Board-Certified Optometrist. A local product of Riverdale, NJ, Ethan graduated from Pompton Lakes High School with Honors. During high school, he volunteered thousands of hours in health care and was also an accomplished fencer and martial artist, earning many awards.

He received his BS in Biochemistry and Neuroscience with Honors from Ramapo College of New Jersey. He was awarded his Doctor of Optometry degree from Salus University—Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. During his Externship at Salus University, he was honored with the prestigious Penn Medicine Platoon Combat to Care Medal. Since graduating from school, he has worked with his father at New Jersey Vision Associates and consulted with United Medical of Bayonne with Dr. Mitch Vogel. He has vast experience with Dry Eye Disease, Anterior Segment Pathology, contact lenses including scleral lens fitting, and post-operative eye care. In addition, he specializes in amniotic membrane tissue (dry or cryopreserved) to treat corneal diseases. In his free time, Dr. Vogel loves golf, watching sports, and spending time with the family.
